About the game

In Arcus Vindex, you play as the last line of defence for your planet. The enemies are vicious and fast, but so are you. You have discovered their weakness and that is their color. Match the colors of the enemies to the colors of your bullets and eliminate the threat. Your job is to outlast the waves of enemies that come your and emerge victorious from this invasion.

Development

Arcus Vindex was the first game I worked on while in DigiPen and every time I go back and look at it, I time that it was a very fun game to play. I would attribute it to a combination of shooters, sound design and enemy design that made the game what it is.

I was the producer on this project. We wanted to keep the game simple and have a clear direction. We went with the action/combat pillar and expanded our game based off on what matched the pillar.
